Xplor Park turns the natural caves and cenotes of the Riviera Maya into a full day of active fun. You can drive an amphibious vehicle through jungle trails, paddle with your hands through underground water, swim beneath stalactites, and finish a zipline circuit with a splash. The cenote and cave settings give the park more character than a standard amusement park.

I like the excellent buffet lunch and the fact that you can return for as much food, juice, coffee, and hot chocolate as you need. I also like the included locker, which saves you from worrying about phones, wallets, and dry clothes while you get wet. The main caution is stamina: six hours can mean plenty of walking, stairs, queues, and repeated climbs, and some activities may take longer than expected when the park is busy.
